Kerry Vásquez is a Los Angeles-based artist, author, and designer. Born in London, raised on the California coast, and educated at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, she draws on her Peruvian and Irish American roots in work that explores place and home.

Inspired by the light and color of California, Vásquez works in gouache, collage, photography, mixed media, and writing. Her abstracted landscapes hold nature and urbanity in tension, and solitude alongside a sense of belonging.

Her work has been exhibited and sold at the Highland Park Artist Art Walk (2016-17) and H+ Creative Gallery (2018), and was included in Beta Main's Office Hours + In Focus: Rachel Duvall (fall 2017).

Since 2010, she has also run her own interior design studio, Kerry Vásquez Design, whose work has appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Architectural Digest, RUE, and Real Simple.

She is now at work on her first memoir, Are You Dating Anyone?
